The Youth Count is New York City’s annual initiative that centers youth voices through a confidential survey to better understand housing experiences, access to services, and overall well-being. For the 2026 campaign, I used bold, high-impact color combinations to immediately capture the attention of young people and cut through visual noise. The vibrant palette was designed to feel energetic, approachable, and relevant—helping make an important civic message feel accessible while maintaining clarity and consistency across digital and print materials.

Vision

The visual style was created to feel welcoming, inclusive, and supportive, encouraging youth to participate and feel like their voices matter. The campaign highlights that every response and personal experience can help shape better programs and resources for young people across the city.
